A high school student in Civil Engineering and later a student of Urban Planning at the University of Tours in France, my two great passions have always been writing and sports. I often wrote articles for school newspapers about student sports competitions. Thanks to my involvement in writing and sports, I became part of the original team of Mondial Basket, the largest basketball magazine in Europe. I wrote the International Biography of Michael Jordan, The Golden Book, which was published in 1999.
It was thus very early in my career that I became a journalist and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Mondial Basket, the best-selling basketball magazine in Europe. I then created the first Afro-European and pan-African television channel, 3A Telesud, a general-interest channel. In 2001, I founded ETNIUM, the first ethnic marketing and communication agency in France, before launching AFRICA24, the world’s first global news channel dedicated to Africa, in November 2008.
In 2024, I innovated with the Canal Plus Group, a loyal partner since my early days in audiovisual media, by launching three new successful channels: Africa24 English, Africa24 Sport and Africa24 Infinity.
In 2025, we reach a new milestone with myafrica24, Africa’s first HD streaming platform and application, available on all screens and ultimately aiming to bring together more than 300 African TV channels.Inscrivez vous à notre newsletter
